April 11th State Qualifier
Our next tournament will be April 11th at New Hope Community Church and it is a Regional Qualifier for the 2009 State Championships. There will be a separate section for those who have already qualified.
SMARTChess tournament dates set for the next school year include Sept 26, 2009 (Quads), Oct 24, 2009 (Owl'O Ween Open at Sirrine Elementary), Nov 14, 2009, Dec 5, 2009, Jan 30, 2010, Feb 13, 2010 (7th Annual Sonoran Desert Women's Championships), Feb 27, 2010 and Mar 13, 2010. Mark your calendars!

About Us
SMARTChess is an organization of chess educators from the east valley of the greater Phoenix area. Our mission is to promote the educational and competitive benefits of chess for both children and adults. We host tournaments, camps and clinics as well as provide information to the chess community.Mission Statement
